Navigating Fire Risks in the Oil & Gas Sector

Our fire safety team is at the forefront of protecting the oil and gas industry from fire hazards. ONE-Dyas, Testing Sprinklersystems on Offshore platform  

ONE-Dyas has an Offshore production platform in the Northsea, just of the coast of the Netherlands. The so called L11B platform has multiple fire protection measures that needed to be tested and evaluated on-site. The project scope consisted of inspection of deluge and sprinkler systems, testing of fixed systems and pumps with our own measuring devices, like ultrasonic flow meters and digital pressure recorders, and thorough testing of alarm systems and their transmission to main control panels.

Reachable only by helicopter, our colleagues Filip Van Bourgonie and Keith Cardon were flown out to the platform for an intense 4 days of testing.
