The reservist is twice the citizen
"The reservist is twice the citizen" A famous statement made by Sir Winston Churchill. After all, a reservist takes responsibility twice. With one leg in civil society, with the other in the armed forces.
As a reservist you gain experience with complex issues, work under difficult and challenging conditions and learn to lead and receive. That's worth gold to the reservist, the civilian employer and the Defense Department. A win-win-win situation!
For example, FPC Risk is one of the employers that likes to employ reservists. Within FPC Risk, two colleagues, Dré Hollanders and Timothy Fornoville, serve in the Military Command Province of Antwerp, doing justice to sir Winston Churchill's famous statement.
On Monday 15 March, Dré and several other reservists were called to the Leopoldsburg military camp. In the lap of the Department of Tactics Interarm MILENG, the Captains of the weapon Genie were introduced to the operation of the Military Commandos, the territorial operational instructions of the Ministry of Defence and the laws and regulations of the emergency and intervention plans. In the afternoon, a sandpit exercise (Table Top Exercise) was held to make all this visible.
